The road to Brisbane 2032 is long, and for many fans the wait between major events can feel quiet. Podium 32 is the side venue: a place to build a team, play a daily challenge, and compete with your community every day until the opening ceremony. It is not the Games themselves, and it is not the official programme, but it runs alongside them.
What is Podium 32?
Podium 32 is a competition platform where you create or join a team and earn points through a daily quiz. Teams can be made up of mates, family, workmates, a pub, a club, or any community group. The daily challenge is ten questions, one honest go a day. Points go to your team, and your team climbs the leaderboards. There are boards for individuals, teams, suburbs, pubs, and more, with filters for today, this week, this month, and all time.
The platform also has Podium Tokens, which are participation rewards earned through play. They are not money, cannot be bought or sold, and have no cash value. They unlock things like profile badges and Team Glow on the boards. Points rank the boards; tokens unlock extras.
How teams and leaderboards work
Building a team is straightforward. You choose a team type, pick activities that interest you (from sports to games to hobbies), name your team, and invite others. Every member's daily challenge contributes points, so the more people who play, the higher the team can climb. There are also structures for businesses and corporates: a company team can have offices, departments, and sub-teams, with points rolling up.
Leaderboards update as each daily quiz is submitted. You can see where you stand among individuals, teams, suburbs, and venues. Venues can also run their own teams and display a big-screen scoreboard for regulars.
The road to 2032 and how to get involved
The countdown to the opening of the '32 Games is live on the site, synced to the server clock. That means every day is a chance to play, earn points, and move up the boards. Whether you are an athlete or just someone who enjoys a daily challenge, Podium 32 is designed for anyone who wants to be part of the build-up.
Joining is simple: create a free account, then either build your own team or join one with a code. The daily challenge is open to everyone, and your first result can be banked when you sign up. Race entry is $1 a month, or a one-time payment for lifetime access until the Games. There are also business and venue plans with additional features.
