A place to start
Every network needs a front door. For BrainO, that door is Wake Up Now. It's where Colin keeps the things he's made and the things he's found, all in one spot. If you've ever wondered what the network is about, this is the easiest way in.
What you'll find inside
Wake Up Now is a mix of Colin's own work and the tools he uses. Here's what a visitor gets:
- Written Off – Colin's memoir, the story of how he got here.
- Songs of the States – music from the road, one tune for each place.
- Videos – the moving pictures that go with the stories.
- The bookshop – a curated shelf of reads Colin rates.
- Out of the Box Advertising – the ad side of things, for businesses that want to stand out.
And then there's the invite: a dollar a month gets you into the whole system. One account, all the sites. No auto-charging, no lock-in. Just a dollar to see what's behind the door.
Who it suits
Wake Up Now is for anyone who likes a good yarn and wants to know what BrainO is on about. If you're curious about Colin's story, his music, or the way he sees the world, start here. It's also for small businesses that need a hand with advertising – Out of the Box Advertising lives here too.
If you're the kind of person who likes to poke around, read a bit, watch a bit, and see if it's for you, you'll fit right in. There's no pressure, no hard sell. Just a look around.
How it fits the network
BrainO is a family of sites, each with its own flavour. Wake Up Now is the one that introduces you to Colin and the crew. It's the front porch. From here, you can wander into the other rooms – all part of the same network, all under one account.
The dollar-a-month invite isn't just for Wake Up Now. It's for the whole system. So if you like what you see here, that same dollar opens up everything else. And because nothing is auto-charged, you're always in control.
The BrainO way
BrainO believes in keeping things simple and honest. No jargon, no hidden fees, no pressure. Just good stuff made by real people, priced so anyone can give it a go. Wake Up Now is that idea in action: a collection of work and tools, offered at a fair price, with the door left open.
So if you've been wondering where to start with BrainO, start here. Have a read, have a listen, have a look. And if you like it, a dollar a month gets you the keys to the rest.
