A front door, not a funnel
Wake Up Now is the place where Colin's work sits in the open. It's not a sales pitch dressed up as a website. It's the front door to the BrainO network — the first step for anyone who wants to see what the team has been building.
Here you'll find Colin's memoir, Written Off. You'll find the Songs of the States. You'll find videos, a bookshop, and Out of the Box Advertising. And you'll find the invite: a dollar a month to step into the whole system.
What a visitor gets
Everything on Wake Up Now is built around the idea that you should be able to look around before you commit. No pressure, no hidden charges. Just the work itself, laid out plainly.
- Written Off — Colin's memoir, in his own words.
- Songs of the States — music that maps the country.
- Videos — the stories behind the work.
- Bookshop — a curated shelf of titles.
- Out of the Box Advertising — a different way to get the word out.
- The $1-a-month invite — your key to the whole network.
Who it suits
Wake Up Now is for the curious. If you've ever felt like the system wasn't built for you, Colin's story will resonate. If you like the idea of a network that doesn't lock you in or auto-charge you, you'll feel at home here.
It's also for small business owners, creatives, and anyone who wants to support independent work without signing up for something they can't get out of. The dollar-a-month invite is exactly what it sounds like: one dollar, every month, and you can stop whenever you like. Nothing is auto-charged. You stay in control.
How it fits the network
Wake Up Now is one site in the BrainO family. The network is a collection of places, each with its own flavour, but they all share one thing: an account that carries across. Sign up once, and you're in — across every site.
Colin built this network because he believes in second chances, in doing things differently, and in giving people a way in that doesn't feel like a trap. Wake Up Now is where that begins.
