Wake Up Now Bookshop

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 August 2026

This policy explains what personal information the Wake Up Now Bookshop collects, why, and how we handle it. We follow the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Who's responsible

The shop is operated by Colin James Medley, trading as The Handy Man To Know (ABN 70 545 298 533). For any privacy question, email support@oimailman.com.

What we collect

Why we use it

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to run the shop, including with:

Where it's stored

Your information is stored on secured servers used to run the BrainO network. Some providers (such as Stripe) may process data outside Australia; where that happens, we take reasonable steps to protect it.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information — including hashed passwords and secured connections. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to keep your data safe and to limit what we collect in the first place.

Your choices and rights

To make a request, email support@oimailman.com. If you're not happy with how we handle a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always lives here, with the date above.
